In an initiative to give school-aged children a uniquely inspiring and progressive Arts-centered education, Uptown Classics NYC has created Kaleidoscope Arts. This Harlem-based program gives its participants an
exceptional education with hands-on training guided by world-class Teaching Artists.
Kaleidoscope Arts aims to provide its participants exposure to the various mediums of expression within the Arts: visual art, dance, and music. By partnering with established artists, we will promote craftsmanship of the respective disciplines, self-expression, and collaboration. These activities will also serve to reinforce basic
reading, writing and arithmetic skills that will support their development in academia. Kaleidoscope Arts is committed to encouraging the development of integrated children as they become contributors of culture.
